Should know printing, die-cutting, lamination, folder-gluing, and pharma quality requirements

Total Experience

5–8 years in an offset carton printing company with Pharma Packaging only

Preferably all candidates from Mumbai, Palghar & Surrounding areas are encouraged to apply for this position.

Should know printing, die-cutting, lamination, folder-gluing, and pharma quality requirements.

Production Planning
• Prepare Job tickets & explain the jobs to the operators.
• Prepare daily and weekly production plans.
• Decide the sequence of jobs to minimize paper changes, ink changes, and machine setup time.
• Coordinate all departments.
• Coordinate with Mechanic & workshop in case of machine breakdown.

Printing Approval
• Remove repeat-job plates from the plate racks.
• Ensure correct plates are mounted.
• Approve the first printed sheet before production starts.
• Verify colour, registration, pharmacode, barcode, text, and artwork.
• Verify correct pantone shade is made as per requirement.

Quality
• Perform proof reading before printing.
• Carry out in-process quality checks.
• Inspect work after printing, lamination, die-cutting, pasting, and packing.
• Stop production if major quality issues are found.
• Maintain quality records and CAPA follow-up.
• Make COA & Shade Cards.

Production Monitoring
• Follow every job until dispatch.
• Report delays immediately.
• Ensure operators understand the job requirements.

Team Management
• Assign work to operators.
• Conduct daily production meetings.
• Manage Labours and Shifts
• Report daily production status

Submit a Daily Production Report before leaving every day, covering:
• Jobs completed
• Jobs pending
• Reasons for delays
• Rejections/wastage
• Dispatches completed
• Next day's production plan
• Material shortages
• Machine breakdowns (if any)
