PRINTING SUPERVISOR – ROTOGRAVURE PRINTING MACHINE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Supervisor to oversee operations of
Rotogravure printing machines. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of hands-on
experience in rotogravure printing, with the ability to manage production, lead a team of operators,
and ensure high-quality output with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of rotogravure printing machines.
• Ensure the production schedule is met with optimal efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with quality control to maintain print standards and specifications.
• Monitor ink usage, viscosity, and colour matching according to client requirements.
• Train and lead machine operators to achieve productivity and safety goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and preventive maintenance of machines.
• Record production data and report to the Production Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 2 to 5 years of experience operating and supervising rotogravure printing machines.
• Strong knowledge of printing parameters, substrates, inks, and solvents.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and print layouts.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or ITI in Printing Technology or related field.
• Experience with automated rotogravure lines is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality systems and production reporting.
