Job Summary: The DTP Operator is responsible for preparing, checking, and finalizing artworks for printing and packaging as per client specifications. The role requires accuracy, technical knowledge of printing processes, and coordination with the production and quality teams to ensure error-free output.

Key Responsibilities:-
Artwork & Design Handling
 Create, edit, and modify artworks as per client requirements.
 Prepare print-ready files for offset, flexo, gravure, and digital printing.
 Ensure proper bleeds, trims, margins, and color modes (CMYK/Pantone).
 Check fonts, images, barcodes, and text accuracy.

Pre-Press & File Processing
 Convert and finalize files as per machine and printing specifications.
 Perform pre-flight checks before plate making or printing.
 Generate PDFs, color separations, and proofs.
 Ensure correct die-lines, layouts, and packaging structures.

Coordination & Approval
 Coordinate with the sales, production, and quality teams.
 Share soft proofs and hard proofs for client approval.
 Implement changes based on client or management feedback.

Quality & Compliance
 Maintain consistency with approved artwork and samples.
 Follow company SOPs and quality standards.
 Avoid rework by ensuring accuracy at every stage.

Record & Data Management
 Maintain organized records of artworks, versions, and approvals.
 Backup files as per company data policy.
 Update job status and maintain production logs.

Required Skills & Knowledge
 Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
 Knowledge of printing processes and packaging materials.
 Understanding of color management and print specifications.
 Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications
 Diploma / Certificate in DTP.
 1–5 years of experience in printing or packaging industry.
